Do you remember how extremely nervous you were going into your first day of Grade 9? Well, now there's a program to help Grade 8 students with the transition to high school - 'High School, Here I Come!' The program is scheduled for 23 secondary schools in Thames Valley.
Program Supervisor, Paul MacGregor, talks about the program's success in Strathroy.

MacGregor adds that the program acts as a 'peace of mind' for the students, talking about misconceptions of high schools, academic and behavioural expectations, getting and staying organized, as well as getting involved with school community.
Registration is open until next Tuesday for the free program. The programs will run 9:00am to 12:30pm from August 21st to the 24th.
To register, go to any Thames Valley school website and click on the 'Here I Come' button. The home page for the Thames Valley District School Board is www.tvdsb.on.ca.
