It was a beautiful sunny Sunday this past weekend and the 2nd annual Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario Walk-It for Parkinsons event in Strathroy was a success. It was the 2nd year for the Strathroy version out of 14 total events in Southwestern Ontario. Walkers from Strathroy and the surrounding area came together at the Strathroy Seniors Centre to support those living with Parkinson's disease. Coordinator of Special Events with the Parkinson's Society Steve Hickson says it was a great day.

Sunday's WALK-IT for Parkinson's in Strathroy was a huge success raising $17,476 for people with Parkinson's and their families. All funds raised go to support services and research in Southwestern Ontario.
