NORTH MIDDLESEX BREAK AND ENTER AND WAGON STOLEN

    Break and Enter in North Middlesex. On February 2nd, OPP responded to a report of a break, enter and theft on Alma Street in North Middlesex. Police say once on the property, culprit(s) entered an unlocked vehicle and used the garage door openers to gain access to the garage. Once inside the garage, culprit(s) stole two chainsaws. OPP urge members of the public to please lock motor vehicles when unattended. Residents of Middlesex County are reminded to immediately report suspicious vehicles and persons to police by calling 9-1-1. The Elgin-Middlesex Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) is investigating. Also that same day Police received a report of a stolen hay wagon from a farm property on Petty Street, North Middlesex. Sometime overnight, culprit(s) stole the hay wagon and a number of barn yard gates from the property. The total replacement value of the stolen property exceeds $5000.
