With the Provincial election still a few months away, the fact is, it's only a few months away and the Liberal Party has yet to name candidates in many of it's Ontario ridings including Lambton-Kent-Middlesex. The Progressive Conservatives will be represented by Incumbent Monte McNaughton and Todd Case will run for the NDP. President of Lambton-Kent-Middlesex Provincial Liberal Association Mike Radan says they are moving forward and there's no rush at this point because they had more pressing things to do, like govern.
With the election scheduled to be June 7th, he says the party is not too worried that there is not a candidate in place in the riding. 77% of the ridings in Ontario have PC candidates, the Liberals cover 44% and the NDP have candidates in 28% of the ridings. The Progressive Conservatives have held the Lambton-Kent-Middlesex riding since 2011.
