myFM Strathroy has a new hire. David McAllan is the radio station’s new General Manager and has years of experience as the leader of a radio station, except in Scotland, not Canada. While researching the company, McAllan drew a lot of comparisons to the station he ran across the pond. Commitment to local news and events on top of great music and strong leadership compelled McAllan to apply. He says leadership to him is keeping an open attitude.
McAllan rose the ranks in Scotland from sales to the board of directors, he moved with his wife Sarah and 2-year-old daughter Paige to Canada in April, and found the position opening online. Sarah also works in Strathroy.
