Strathroy-Caradoc firefighters now have a centralized place to train. Earlier this month, town council approved a vacant property next to the Public Works yard on Falconbridge Drive to be used for training exercises. Fire Chief Brian George says this offers some consistency among their three stations.

Prior to this move, George says they would run training all across the municipality. They would request permission to use a building which was about to be torn down for any reason for a certain amount of time to run drills. George said with a permanent location they can now implement a reliable training schedule.
