Middlesex County Council authorized a conditional agreement with York Developments for the sale of two county properties: 50 King St. and 399 Ridout.
County CAO, Bill Rayburn explains the sale was part of the county’s strategic plan.
Rayburn says council believes they scored big as he says the county maximized the properties’ value through rezoning and the market was at the ideal temperature.
He says the conditional agreement states York Developments has less than one month to be satisfied with the conditions of purchase.
County administrative staff have 4 years to vacate the facilities.
