Stay home. It’s the message you’ve heard time and time again, but people still aren’t getting it, and it’s frustrated Bill Weber, the mayor of Lambton Shores and the County of Lambton Warden.
To a point where he’s issuing the reminder once again.
The longer people don’t take COVID-19 seriously, more and more measures will be put in place by the governments.
He posted a video on Facebook this past weekend discussing his hopes of having Grand Bend up and running by Canada Day this year, but that’s only possible if everyone does their part in flattening the curve.
In the same video he expressed frustration of the amount of reports and emails he’s gotten about people still heading to the beach town, despite the province’s state of emergency.
