Long-time resident Shari Terwilliger has had a hand in a lot of different pots, Terwilliger has become a staple and familiar face when attending almost any volunteering or fundraising event. She feels it’s important to do what you can for others.
Terwilliger feels that mindset might have been bred into her, through her upbringing as both her parents were well involved in the community. The past president of Strathroy Minor Hockey says there’s lots of things that’ve changed because of COVID-19, and staying at home buying time is very different from her normal.
The time spent in Strathroy has brought forth a lot of fond memories and accomplishments, so many, Terwilliger says she can’t pinpoint one. She continues to volunteer by sitting on the Strathroy Hometown Festival committee and as an active Rotary Club member.
