U-Haul Company announced last week that Ryan’s Mini Mart in Strathroy signed on as a U-Haul® neighborhood dealer to serve the Strathroy community. Shane Mohammed has operated the mini mart since 2018 and says the community has been very supportive of the business located at 380 Albert Street and now will offer essential services like U-Haul trucks, trailers and moving supplies. Mohammed says he was asked to take it on as one of the other two local dealers closed up shop.
U-Haul has teamed with independent dealers to offer moving equipment since 1945. With the COVID-19 outbreak creating challenging times for small businesses, more than 20,000 dealers across the U.S. and Canada are creating supplemental income through their U-Haul partnership.
