Road tests for hopeful G2 and G class drivers resume in Ontario today. They were put on a long pause as COVID-19 entered the province. The government also extended drivers license expiration and plate stickers to ensure no one lost their license due to the pandemic. Lambton-Kent-Middlesex MPP Monte McNaughton said it’s good news more people could soon find their way to work a bit more easily.
DriveTest locations still require customers to wear face coverings inside centres and during road tests, sanitize their hands, and submit to temperature checks and screening questions for road tests. Staff will wear appropriate PPE and driver examiners will be equipped with face shields, sanitizer packages and seat covers.
