Medical officer of health at the Middlesex-London Health Unit Dr. Chris Mackie could not have offered higher praise when discussing the government’s move to offering COVID-19 tests in select pharmacies beginning today.
Mackie understands why the 60 pharmacies are largely located in the Ottawa and Toronto region and while he’d like the tests to be offered in the London-Middlesex region as we’re seeing a spike of our own, he acknowledges setting up the testing capacity takes time. The MLHU reported 3 new cases Thursday.
