Over the course of the weekend, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were busy during their part to keep our communities safe. On Saturday evening, OPP and Middlesex Centre Fire were dispatched to Eight Mile Road and Vanneck Road in Middlesex Centre for a vehicle fire. As a result of the investigation, it was revealed the vehicle had previously been reported stolen out of London, ON. At this point, no suspects have been identified. The following Sunday afternoon, OPP, North Middlesex Fire and Middlesex EMS were dispatched to a snowmobile collision on private property in North Middlesex. A single occupant was transported to hospital with minor injuries. No charges were laid.
