The Strathroy Motor Inn is open for business and Manager Edward Derringer who has brought in new furniture and staff to the motel, has really been enjoying the newly established partnership with CMHA Middlesex, which allows the motel to provide shelter for recovering addicts and the homeless.
Fireplaces, couches and new linen highlight the transformation the motel has seen since Derringer became manager. He says it broke his heart to see how many homeless people there are in the area when he came to the community from the East Coast.
