A new subdivision is coming to Strathroy’s north end to be named Creekside. Matthew Stephenson, Director of Building and Waste Management, says the 40-lot subdivision will contain a park and a horseshoe with an internal stormwater management pond. The project will include an expansion of the current Thorne Drive.
As far as the expansion limit for Strathroy-Caradoc and how far north we can go with neighboring Adelaide Metcalfe Township right there, Stephenson says this may be as far as we can go.
As far as traffic, the project will be stalling traffic on Deborah Street and elsewhere.
Servicing is to begin in the spring, and permits will be in place by June or July of this year. Signage will be put in place and the project will not be accepting any traffic through Deborah or smaller streets in the area, and that building permits are at an all-time high.
