The Middlesex-London Health Unit reported 12 cases Tuesday and once again a day with zero new deaths. There were no cases added Tuesday to any community in the region other than London, and there are just 98 active cases in the region. On Tuesday Dr. Chris Mackie tweeted out saying it was a tremendous response from the 80+ population as the health unit booked out all appointments for the next 2 weeks. There were over 5,000 appointments booked in less than 2 hours. Because of uncertainty in vaccine supply, the unit is not booking out more than 2 weeks in advance. He said their website held up during the rush but their phone line was overwhelmed with 145,000 calls.
