The man accused of using a pickup truck to target and kill four members of Muslim family in London is due back in court this morning. Twenty-year-old Nathaniel Veltman faces four counts of first-degree murder and one of attempted murder that prosecutors allege constitute an act of terrorism.
Police have said the June 6th attack was motivated by hate against the Islamic faith. Salman Afzaal, his wife Madiha Salman, their teenage daughter Yumna and her grandmother, Talat Afzaal were killed while out for an evening walk. The couple’s nine-year-old son, Fayez, was seriously hurt.
