A suspicious vehicle parked on Egremont Drive at Hickory Drive in Middlesex Centre Township got the attention of the Middlesex OPP on June 24th. This led to an investigation which revealed approximately $6,000 worth of illicit drugs in the vehicle.
46-year-old Peter Belik from Adelaide Metcalfe Township, 37-year-old Shannon Mrnik from London, and 47-year-old Karen Baird from Tillsonburg are all facing a number of charges. They were held for a bail hearing on June 24th and have since been released. They are scheduled to appear in a London court room on July 23rd.
Peter Belik, a 46-year-old from Adelaide Metcalfe Township, has been charged with:
– Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition, section 92(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada
– Poss of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order, section 117.01(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada
– Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine, section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
– Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine, section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
– Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin), section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
– Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin), section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
Shannon Mrnik, a 37-year-old from London, has been charged with:
– Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
– Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
– Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine,
– Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin)
– Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin)
Karen Baird, a 47-year-old from Tillsonburg, has been charged with:
– Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition,
– Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
– Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
– Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin)
