Two award winning Chefs have moved to town, opening up a once in a lifetime experience, The Chef’s Estate. Michael Callaghan and Barbara VanRassel bought a house on Centre Road, that to them, looked like the perfect place to entertain. A Bed and Breakfast, with cooking classes, and what Chef Mike likes to call Dinner and Show, when the two of them cook you a multi-course dinner.
After years on the road with their catering business, and competing in different food competitions, they were ready to slow down and have the people come to them. Chef Mike said that when they walked into the house they knew it would be great for what they wanted to do, but they waited a little before starting renovations.
The BnB part of the business was Barb’s idea, which also allows for them to host their guest for even long. Barb says that their motto is come as guests, leave as family.
The Chef’s Estate sleeps 6 people, with the option for 8 with a pull out bed or a cot. There is also an in-house movie theater, games room, and living area.
