
Strathroy-Caradoc Council approved three of the six submitted applications for the Community Improvement Plan Monday night. The program is to help improve the community as well as encourage economic investment through the expansion of improvement strategies and financial incentives.
Middlesex Spine & Sport Clinic applied for new signage for the front of their building on Adelaide Road, Mount Brydges through the Beautification Program.
The second and third approved applications are both for 51 Front Street West being the newly named Shops on Sydenham in Strathroy. The first application approved for the address is through the Environment and Sustainability Program for new exterior lighting, where the municipality can fund 50% of the construction costs, up to $10,000. The second application is for facade construction, where the municipality can fund up to $15,000 in construction costs, and $1,500 in professional fees.
