Railroad Safety day is coming to Strathroy this weekend to kick-off Ontario’s Railroad Safety week with an event to have fun and learn more about railroad safety. CN Police, Strathroy-Caradoc police along with others will be at the event, with emergency vehicles, free handouts for kids, and train rides on the Sleepy Hollow Railroad. Police Constable Michelle McIntyre says that teaching youth about railroad safety is incredibly important.
Railroad Safety Day is taking place on Saturday September 18th from 11am to 4:30pm. The free event will be happening at the Fairgrounds Recreation Complex with Sleepy Hollow Railroad.
