Wednesday was Mchappy Day with McDonalds coast to coast and a little different look and process this year as no local celebrities were able to hop behind the counter and help out but Strathroy franchise owner Colleen Buckley says instead of the usual Big Mac, and Happy Meal purchases to help donate, this year you were able to purchase anything and still donate. Buckley says they chose to partner with the Strathroy YMCA and this year again, the community on Wednesday was fantastic.
Buckley added they raised $6880.48 for the Strathroy-Caradoc YMCA and $2293.50 for our local Ronald McDonald House of Southwestern Ontario.
