The Ontario Government announced Friday that they are going to be bringing high-speed internet to Lucan-Biddulph. They are investing $307,327 to increase access in the area to 104 new homes.
Monte McNaughton, MPP for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex said “The expansion of broadband to the Municipality of Lucan-Biddulph will provide more families, farms, and small businesses in the region with the access to high-speed connections they need to build better communities for us all. I’m excited to see this work continue as we bring connectivity to more people across Lambton-Kent-Middlesex.”
The funding is coming from the Improving Connectivity for Ontario program, and will bring high speed internet to Lucan-Biddulph, Rideau Lakes, Saugeen Shores and Kincardine. This is just another step in the provinces plan to have 100 per cent connectivity across the province by the end of 2025.
