Mayor of Thames Centre Alison Warwick is the new Warden of Middlesex County, after being elected into the role by council on December 2nd. Warden Warwick has been in municipal politics since 2014 and was elected Mayor of Thames Centre in 2018. She says she’s grateful for the position, and has three areas she plans on focusing on during her time. The first is internet in our rural area, something we all noticed was an issue during the pandemic, the second is rural education, and the third is the transit system.
She says that she believes the County is a wonderful place and its got many great businesses and activities, so she encourages people to continue to explore the area and all it has to offer.
