Dr. Alex Summers, the acting Medical Officer of Health at the Middlesex-London Health Unit thinks it is important students are returning to in-class learning on Monday, even though there may be associated risks.
With uncertainty over what back to in-class learning will look like for students on Monday, COVID-19 fatigue is to be expected, stresses Dr. Summers.
He reminds parents their child can easily be exposed to the coronavirus outside of the school environment.
Dr. Summers adds it comes down to a matter of balancing the risks involved with in-class learning.
