Charges have been laid following a Police cruiser being struck. On Monday just before 10pm, Chippewas of the Thames First Nation Police along with OPP were dispatched to a residence on Jubilee Road, for the report of an unwanted individual on the property. As officers arrived on scene, the suspect attempted to flee in a vehicle, striking a marked OPP cruiser. The suspect vehicle entered a snowy ditch and became stuck. After a brief struggle the lone occupant was taken into custody, and there were no injuries. 35-year-old Garry Snake of Munsee-Delaware First Nation, has been charged with multiple offenses, was held for bail and was expected to be in court on Tuesday.
