
The Census for population growth is now out and Strathroy-Caradoc as expected with all the residential growth over the last few years has indeed grown, by 14.4% over the last 5 years. Statistics taken from 2016-2021 say Strathroy-Caradoc has grown from a population of 20,867 in 2016 to 23,871 in 2021 and there is no indication that is stopping any time soon. There are 9,695 total private dwellings in the Municipality as well. In comparison, neighbouring Adelaide Metcalfe Township only grew 0.7% from 2016-2021 being a total of only 21 people. London’s growth was the fastest rate in Ontario and fourth in Canada growing 10% to a population of 422,324 in 2021, from 383,822 in 2016. Here are some statistics on other area communities.
