OPP are investigating a serious accident on a local snowmobile trail. Police tell us on Tuesday just before noon, they along with Middlesex Centre Fire and EMS were dispatched to the area of Twelve Mile Road, west of Hyde Park road, Middlesex Centre, for the report of a single snowmobile collision on a local trail. As a result of the collision, a lone rider was transported to local hospital by EMS with life threatening injuries. The trail was closed for the team investigation, but has since been re-opened. The investigation is continuing.
