More delays in the case of the death of toddler Nathaniel McLellan. On Thursday, defence lawyer for Strathroy’s Meggin Van Hoof received what is labeled as “large quantities of disclosure” from the crown attorney’s office in London, only problem was the disclosure was received just before Thursday’s hearing, thus asking for a month to review it. The office of the crown attorney was to have provided all of that months ago. Jeremy Carnegie still has yet to appear in court on this case. 42-year-old Van Hoof was charged with manslaughter in June of last year for Nathaniel’s 2015 death. The case resumes March 31st to set a date for a judicial pretrial. Since Van Hoof was charged, many delays in the case have occurred due to a failure to provide disclosure by the crown and police.
