This week is National Public Safety Telecommunications Week. It’s a chance for us to highlight the great work done behind the scenes by local communicators in the Emergency Services world. We spoke with Communicator with the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Michelle MacDonald who has been on the job for 5 years and loves every second.
She says that there are lots of different calls especially since the dispatch centre now does Strathroy-Caradoc police and 19 fire stations in Middlesex County. As for when to call 911…she says if it’s happening right now and it’s an emergency, then call it.
