He was a Councillor back before amalgamation 20 years ago, and due to work life back then, chose not to continue. Then in 2018 he decided to get back into the political ring and is hoping to be re-elected this October. Ward 1 incumbent Councillor Frank Kennes now officially on the ballot in Strathroy-Caradoc and has a focused platform.
Kennes says he knows what needs to be done and believes he’s the right candidate for Ward 1.
He also stated it’s time to end the 2 decade notion that Strathroy receives much more than communities like Mount Brydges and bring this community together as one.
In his 2018 campaign he stated he wanted to serve for two terms and says there’s a lot more to be done in Strathroy-Caradoc and he wants to be a part of moving the community forward.
