The All Wheels Skate Park currently being constructed at the Fairgrounds Recreation Complex received some additional community support last week. On Friday of last week, Ricco Foods, CommonWealth Financial, Adelaide Wind Project and Mayor Joanne Vanderheyden donated a total of $45,500 to the project. Don Windsor of Ricco Foods was very happy to help the community.
The overall cost for the park construction is about $825,000, which with a council allocation in October of 2021 of $200,000 plus a Rotary Club commitment of $200,000, and also a previous council allocation of $425,000 comprised the total cost. CommonWealth Financial, Adelaide Wind Project and Ricco Foods all donated $15,000 each. Mayor Joanne Vanderheyden donated $500 from her personal account.
