Some updates are coming to the Clark Wright Conservation Area and others later this summer. Due to a number of Government and local funding, the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority will be bring upgrades to the Clark Wright Parking lot to hopefully reduce muddy conditions. Other Conservation Areas receiving upgrades are Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area in Sarnia and the Coldstream Conservation Area in Middlesex Centre. Residents will be notified of closures through social media and the Authorities website. The SCRCA received about $250,000 from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, and donations from Envirofriends of Coldstream and Poplar Hill Lions, Nature London and a generous donation received from local Strathroy residents in 2021.
