In the organization’s 12th year, ONERUN announced their 2022 fundraising total. ONERUN raised an incredible $128,745 to bring their overall total to $1,769,097 since 2010. Funds raised are directed to families affected by cancer through ChildCan and Wellspring programs. Over 1400 participants joined this year’s campaign, including high school staff and students from nine local high schools.
Community participants who completed the online 100km Virtual Journey finished 100kms of activity from May 14 to June 11 while fundraising for the cause. The event concluded on June 11, when 10 people affected by cancer ran 10kms each through Vauxhall Park.
ONERUN Founder and Executive Director, Theresa Carriere says because of the very generous contributions of so many, this year’s funds will be able to support programs at ChildCan and Wellspring.
