He has been involved in Municipal politics since 1997 and is looking for another 4 years this October. Current Ward 1 Councillor Steve Pelkman is officially a candidate now for the 2022 Municipal Election and simply put, he isn’t finished yet.
He says there is plenty still to get done and he wants to make sure those things do get done including a more in depth look at affordable housing.
When asked why voters should check the box beside his name, Pelkman says his decisions are based on the community, not just one person.
He says some of his other focus issues include the new Mount Brydges arena, traffic light corner safety and area playground maintenance and safety standards.
