The Canadian Mental Health Association Thames Valley Addiction and Mental Health Services was one of 5 recipients last week to receive the 2022 Community Vitality Grant. The grant of $138,000, over 1 year, will be used towards the COAST program, says Lori Griffith, Director of Crisis and Access at CMHA.
COAST is in partnership with St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Middlesex-London Paramedic Service and the London Police Service.
Other recipients are Glen Cairn Community Resource Centre for their Food for All Project; London Cares Homeless Response Services for their Permanent Supportive Housing Program for Housing Deprived; Pathways Employment Help Centre for Building New Futures Together; and Southwest Ontario Aboriginal Health Access Centre for Minomode-zewin nunge-gehwin ‘healthy ways of eating’.
