A long-awaited bridge replacement project is set to begin at the Coldstream Conservation Area, located in Middlesex Centre.
The First bridge downstream at the Coldstream Conservation Area will be closed starting tomorrow.
The Marsh Lane parking lot will also be closed for heavy machinery and materials.
The bridge construction should last about 2 weeks.
Serving as a memorial for Bruce Alan ‘Al’ Bycraft, a long-time member of the Enviro-Friends of Coldstream and advocate for the conservation area, funding for the new bridge was obtained through fundraising efforts by the community group and a generous donation by the Poplar Hill Lions. The pedestrian bridge has been designed to improve accessibility at the property.
