In Southwest Middlesex Mayor Allan Mayhew successfully was re-elected almost doubling the vote total of challenger Marigay Wilkins. Mayhew garnered 1434 votes out of 2229 total for the seat. Wilkins was the Deputy Mayor who ran for Mayor. Councilors Christa Cowell and Mike Sholdice both were vying for the Deputy Mayor’s seat which was eventually won by Sholdice by over 900 votes. Ward 1 councillors will be Mark McGill and Don McCallum, Ward 2 will be represented by Ed Myers and Joel Haggith both acclaimed and Ward 3 councillors will be Amy Choi and Martin Vink.
