Grab your Santa Clause hat, some hot cocoa and make your way downtown at 1pm on November 19th, Santa is coming to town. It is the return of the Strathroy Lions Ricco Foods Santa Claus parade after two years away due to the pandemic. Last week the event received a financial contribution from its title sponsor, Ricco Foods, and Owner Don Windsor says the contribution is for good reason.
Windsor adds it’s to help make the parade happen, because it’s all about community.
Ricco Foods donated $7500 and Strathroy-Caradoc allocated $3500 to the event which Parade Chairman Rob Dack says is very expensive to run including getting all the bands, staffing, and security. You can find registration forms for the parade on myFM, Lions Club and Chamber of Commerce websites and on various social media platforms.
