Coming up this month, Northgrove Meadows Inc. is hosting a virtual Neighbourhood Open House Wednesday, November 23rd 7-8:30pm to learn more about a Zoning By-law Amendment application for a mix of housing types on lands at 390 Second Street which is directly across from the high schools. The reason for the Zoning By-law Amendment application is to apply residential zoning to three proposed development blocks to help promote housing choice in the community and help accommodate market demand. This is also part of the larger North Meadows Secondary Plan, as approved by the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are unable to host an in-person Open House, and have elected to proceed using a virtual platform to gather your input and comments. The Open House will be hosted by MHBC, who are the land use planners retained by Northgrove Meadows Inc. to assist with acquiring the necessary planning approvals.

The Zoning By-law Amendment application also requires a statutory Public Meeting to be held by Strathroy-Caradoc Council, which will occur once the applicant has an opportunity to review and address comments received during the Open House, from municipal staff and other agencies. The Statutory Public Meeting is not to be confused with the Open House held solely by Northgrove Meadows Inc. to engage the Residents that live in the area. You will be notified separately of the Statutory Public Meeting. With that being said municipal staff will be in attendance to observe the comments and questions
