The Santa Claus Parade schedule moves to Parkhill this weekend. Heather Cadman, chair of the parade, says this year, the route has changed just a little bit.
The theme is very fitting this year, it is ‘Christmas Under Construction’. At the end of the parade, you can visit Santa at the municipal offices and enjoy some treats and hot chocolate from the Parkhill optimist Club. There is no registration required, and Cadman asks that you show up to the Parkhill Arena around 4pm. There are 3 awards that are to be given out this year, for best use of lights, best wild factor and best use of the theme. It is asked that you bring a canned food donation for the Parkhill food bank. They will be collected at the front of the parade.
