OPP tell us on Saturday, just before 3:30am, an officer performed a traffic stop on Highway 402 east of Hickory Drive in Strathroy-Caradoc. The stop revealed the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was suspended and was wanted by another police service. The driver was placed under arrest without incident. A quantity of methamphetamine and other illicit drugs was found within the vehicle as well as a homemade Conducted Energy Weapon. A 49-year-old female from Sarnia has been charged and was held for a bail hearing.
