myFM was able to catch up with Captain of Canada’s 2023 IIHF Women’s U18 back to back gold medal winning hockey team Jocelyn Amos from Ailsa Craig. She visited myFM Monday sporting the bright shiny gold medal around her neck and says winning the tournament was an experience like no other.
Amos was hurt at the beginning of the tournament but was able to play in the Semi-Finals and Finals. She says the medical staff and her teammates were all supportive of her when she was injured.
She will be attending Ohio State University to play hockey and plans to continue playing the game and hopefully the sport will take her on a long successful journey. You can listen to the full interview with Jocelyn Amos here:
