Great news for the Humane Society London & Middlesex as it received recently a transformational $3million grant from the City of London. The city is one step closer to a new home for the organization thanks to the recent announcement. The grant will be directed toward the Humane Society’s new Old Oak Animal Campus, which will be constructed at 1414 Dundas Street. The substantial boost in funding brings the capital campaign to 76% completion, with a fall 2024 move-in date still in the plans. Once up and running, the site will not only provide twice as much sheltering space for animals in need, but will have an onsite Education Centre and Companion Animal Hospital (vet clinic).
