On March 4th, Middlesex OPP was called to Medway Road in Middlesex Centre for a possible drunk driver.
Police were able to find the vehicle in question and do a traffic stop.
It was noticeable that the driver had been drinking, police tell us.
A 38-year-old from Kitchener has been charged with drinking and driving, failure to comply with demand, operation while prohibited, having a vehicle not equipped with an ignition interlock device, and driving while under suspension.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges in April.
The Middlesex OPP wants to remind the public that if you see anything suspicious or suspect an impaired driver you should contact the Ontario Provincial Police or your nearest police authority immediately.
