The new leader of the Ontario NDP has concerns when it comes to how the province is handling a lack of housing. Marit Stiles sat down with myFM this week and she says there has been a bit of change in the calls coming from the business community.
Stiles says the issue has been around for decades and isn’t getting any better.
Stiles says she supports effective and predictable protections for tenants, including real rent control and a rent registry so tenants know how much their homes were rented for in the past.
