After quite some time, the front doors of Strathroy-Caradoc’s municipal building on Frank Street will be opening to the public sometime in the very near future. According to Mayor Colin Grantham, the doors have been closed to the public for quite some time for two main reasons.
myFM followed up on that comment from the Mayor asking if wheelchair accessibility was one of the issues, why was the building open to the public before the pandemic to which Mayor Grantham said he couldn’t answer the question because he wasn’t involved in municipal government at that time. He says customer service will remain where it is.
He added the discussion to open the doors would be coming to council in the very near future.
