The Strathroy Hometown Festival returns this weekend with the traditional Show ‘n Shine Car Show kicking things off Friday night. Running from 4 p.m. to dusk, roughly 300 cars will fill the streets in downtown Strathroy thanks to the passion of area car clubs and local enthusiasts. Hosted by the Strathroy-Caradoc Cruisers Car Club, President Bryan Watson says longtime attendees can expect much of the same but also some new additions.
Watson notes what residents can expect this year.
He adds things will begin with road closures early on Friday.
Those wishing to enter their own car can still do so. It’s a $10 entry fee, with participating vehicles asked to enter off either Frank or Front Street.
