A local event meant to celebrate love and inclusion, is getting A bad rap in Strathroy, largely thanks to misinformation. With Pride in the Park set to take place July 8th in Alexandra Park, Strathroy Pride Director Frank Emanuele wanted to shed some light on the controversy that is “Drag Story Time”.
Emanuele adds that those with concerns can reach out to Strathroy Pride through their social media or website. Pride in the Park will run from noon to 4 p.m. at Alexandra Park in Strathroy. He says the event will promote love and inclusion through a number of fun events.
While other similar events have been met with protesters, Emanuele ensures that with the help of Strathroy-Caradoc Police, it will be a safe event for all. For more details, visit StrathroyPride.org.
