The Tim Horton’s Smile Cookie Campaign has celebrated another successful year. In 2022, the Strathroy Tim Horton’s locations chose Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Centre as the beneficiary for the first time. Building on that success, they selected Salthaven once again in 2023, resulting in a remarkable total donation of $28,260.50. This outstanding amount marks the highest Smile Cookie contribution in the history of the local event.
Leah Roy from Tim Hortons expresses her gratitude to the incredible community, dedicated team members, and volunteers whose generous support made this achievement possible. She acknowledges that without their involvement, this accomplishment would not have been attainable. Erin Swan, the Community Engagement Coordinator at Salthaven, shares their deep appreciation and humility for being chosen as the recipient once more in 2023. She expresses delight in the community surpassing expectations once again.
